MIRPOWER performed a comprehensive grid connection, power evacuation, stability, and Grid Code compliance study for the Anadolu Grup – Coca-Cola Tashkent 2.5 MW synchronous gas-engine generator connected at 10 kV. The project was assessed for integration into the existing Coca-Cola 10 kV internal network and connection to the Vodnik substation through a Loop-In Loop-Out arrangement on Feeder 1. The electrical system was modelled in DIgSILENT PowerFactory 2024 using the project single-line diagram, generator data, feeder information, 10 kV switchgear specifications, transformer data, and utility network information. MIRPOWER carried out load-flow studies, voltage profile analysis, cable and equipment loading checks, and short-circuit calculations in accordance with IEC 60909 and applicable grid-connection requirements. Static and dynamic stability studies were performed for the PCC, Vodnik 10 kV transformers, and the 110 kV Fayzobod–Vodnik transmission interface. The Grid Code compliance assessment included LVRT, HVRT, LFRT, HFRT, harmonic distortion, flicker, and active power capability evaluations. The study also reviewed protection and metering principles for the new 10 kV switchgear and generator connection. Technical responses were prepared for comments from the National Dispatch Centre and Tashkent City Electric Networks, including clarification of single-phase fault current in an isolated-neutral 10 kV system, feeder cable data, absence of ATS at Vodnik 10 kV bus coupler, and transformer protection considerations. According to the National Dispatch Centre letter, there were no comments on the submitted Grid Code compliance and stability reports. The completed studies provided the technical basis for coordination with the grid operator and for obtaining technical conditions for connection of the 2.5 MW generator to the 10 kV network.
